Long Term Care

While strong technical design is vital, so are facilities that promote a sense of warmth, community, purpose, independence, dignity and hope. Our long term care team is committed to these underlying principles, and specializes in the design and rehabilitation of skilled nursing facilities (SNF), medical care facilities (MCF), assisted living centers (ALC), adult foster care (AFC) homes, and residential treatment centers. "Neighborhood" or "household" design principles, like those for Green House® and the Eden Alternative®, are integral in our work to de-institutionalize these care settings.

Sustainable design is normal practice for us, and we routinely guide clients through the LEED certification process. Just another way among several that we strive to create the healthiest environments possible. After all, what could make more sense in spaces for long term care?
