The need: Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility was beginning to transform its operations, programs and services into the new “household” model of delivering exceptional patient care. They needed to renovate and expand their existing facility to fit the new culture.

The solution: A complete renovation of the existing facility and the addition of two new “households” each with an independent entry, dining and living area and private resident rooms. The new design is intended to create a more intimate living environment that encourages interaction and fosters a sense of family for residents while also providing privacy. Common areas have kitchenettes that allow residents the independence to prepare, cook and entertain family and friends if they desire.
