The need: Christian Care had an aging facility on a land locked parcel that could no longer accommodate the growing demands of the market. They needed a new, larger facility conducive to delivering exceptional patient care while allowing for immediate expansion and future growth.

The solution: A new facility that will allow Christian Care to move 49 existing beds and add 20 new beds dedicated to Alzheimer’s patients. The new design is based on the “neighborhood” model which strives to create a more intimate environment that closely mirrors life at home. It features several small “neighborhoods” of 20 – 25 residents, each with its own independent entry, dining and living area. Warm colors, soft textures and lighting will play a critical role in creating a comforting, secure and home-like living environment.
